After Production Officially Commenced in April of 1993 the JZA80 Series Supra would Soon Gain a Legendary Status, with the New 2JZ Renown for it’s Incredible Strength and Capacity to Survive with Increased Boost.

This December 2001 Built, Moonshine Grey JZA80 is the 350th Last Example off the line, with Production Finishing in July of 2002. Built as a Japanese Domestic Market example, this Supra that Remained in Japan Until July 2014.

Imported into Australia by a Country Gentleman, in his Late 60’s, the Supra Soon Started it’s Journey to Forced Induction. The Original 2JZ Bottom End was Retained and the Naturally Aspirated 2JZ Head was Replaced by a Turbo 1JZ example. Supporting the New 1.5JZ are: A Haltech Elite 750, Garrett T3 60-1 (34.63), Custom Intercooler and New (September 2019) Hitachi R35 Ignition Coils.

With Significant Work and Cost the Resultant 1.5JZ was Dyno’ed in June of 2019, with 219.4KW at the Rear Wheels, a Large Jump from it’s Factory Rating of 168KW at the Engine! The Final Product is a Hugely Powerful, yet Very Tractable Coupe, still Retaining it’s Original A340E Transmission, Without Worry of Mechanical Failure.
