RHD, MANUAL, SUPERCHARGED CONVERTIBLE!

Introduced in 1997 the C5 Corvette was a Spectacular Leap Forward in Build Quality, Performance and Dynamics over the Previous Generation’s C4. Hydroforming was used to Produce the Two Main Frame Rails, Providing an Enormously more Ridged Construction, while the Transmission was Intergrated with the Differential, Forming a Transaxle Driven Via a Torque Tube, Producing a 50-50% Weight Balance Front & Rear.

Just a Year into Production the Convertible was Debuted, becoming the First Corvette Since 1962 to be Equipped with a Boot, now also Featuring an Easily Erected and Stowed Soft-Top with a Glass Rear Window. Incidentally the C5 Shares the Title of the Last Production Car to have Pop- Up Headlights (with the Lotus Esprit).

Finished in Striking Torch Red this Stunning C5 Corvette has Only had One Australian Owner, after being Imported into Australia, Converted to Right Hand Drive by The Corvette Clinic, and Signed off & Certified in February of 2003.

This Corvette Convertible was Later Fitted with a Vortech V-2 Supercharger, Including Charge Cooler by Pulford Race Engine of Mitchell ACT, Giving this Corvette Sensational Performance and Torque. Factory Rated at 345hp, with a 0-60 of 4.5 Seconds and a Top speed of 282km/h, this Convertible C5 now has More Than Enough Performance to Truely Excite!
