Introduced in November 1992, the Subaru Impreza WRX (World Rally eXperimental) was an instant success as purpose built road cars designed for both race and rally. The combination of Subaru’s famed Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Independent Suspension, Four Wheel Disc Brakes and an Intercooled – Turbo Charged 2 Litre Flat Four delivering Reliable Power through a Five Speed Gearbox earned the New WRX instantaneous Icon Status.

This GC8D series WRX has lived a charmed life, unlike the majority of it’s brethren, having never been raced, or treated harshly. Sold new through City Motors Subaru in Newstead QLD on the 29.06.1998 for the total sum of $46,255.00 this ‘Bright Red’ WRX was optioned with Side Skirts, Custom Tint, a Set of Carpet Mats, CD Stacker, and an Ever Important Full Tank of fuel.

Offered for sale after Only Two Owners, this WRX has travelled just over 142,000km, and aside from an updated double DIN Alpine CD Player (with Bluetooth) has remained in absolute original condition, including it’s stock standard exhaust, Factory Sports Seats, Factory Nardi Leather-bound Steering Wheel and 16” Alloy Wheels.

In Unmolested condition, with Original Documentation, this Impreza WRX is a 20 Year Old Future Classic, with Heritage in WRC and Idolisation from those old enough to remember their Influential Release.
