Introduced in 1997 the C5 Corvette was a Spectacular Leap Forward in Build Quality, Performance and Dynamics over the Previous Generation’s C4. Hydroforming was used to Produce the Two Main Frame Rails, Providing an Enormously more Ridged Construction, while the Transmission was Integrated with the Differential, Forming a Transaxle Driven Via a Torque Tube, Producing a 50-50% Weight Balance Front & Rear.

This 1997 Chevrolet Corvette Arrived in Australia from the Napa Valley, California, in Early 2022 with an Odometer Reading of Just 51,365 miles (82,664km). Upon Arrival in Australia, the C5 was Signed Off with a VASS Approval Certificate dated the 29th of June 2022, with the Corvette Receiving it’s Victorian Club Permit, just shy of a month later, on the 22nd of July.
