Porsche’s Iconic 911 has gone through many developments and model updates since its launch in 1963. 31 years after we first saw the 911, the final Air-cooled model was introduced, the 993. This was a Significant Advance over previous 911s from a technical and visual perspective and still Regarded by many Porsche die-hards as the Prettiest and Best-judged of the lot. The 993 Continued the Front Suspension Improvements Introduced in the 964 Series and Introduced a New Alloy Rear Sub Frame with Coil and Wishbone Suspension Vastly Improving the Lift Off Over-steer Characteristics of the Earlier 911’s.

This Australian Delivered 1995 Polar Silver Metallic Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet was delivered new on the 9th of February 1996 by Scuderia Veloce Motors in Sydney to Mr Schrader. The Service Records indicate that the earlier maintenance was carried out by the Porsche Centre Paramatta, after which this 993 moved to Brisbane and was looked after by the Porsche Centre Brisbane. Later in its life this 911 Carrera relocated to Melbourne and has remained here since with Maintenance carried out by Porsche specialists Weltmeister and more recently, AutoCoupé.

The Polar Silver Metallic Coachwork presents superbly, and contrasts beautifully with Black Fabric Roof and the Classic Grey Leather interior trim. Like the exterior, the Interior of this 993 also presents Superbly with its Original Porsche CR21 Radio Cassette player and even the Cassette Holders, which are often missing or broken.

With its M64 3.6 Litre engine and A50 Tiptronic gearbox, this 993 is a delight to drive and is Practical enough to be used in the Daily Commute yet Special Enough to be used for a Fun weekend getaway or Sunday run to your favourite lunch spot in the Hills.
