September 1990 Marked a Very Significant Day in TVR’s History, Unveiled at the British International Motor Show in Birmingham, was the Prototype Griffith, the First “New” TVR Since 1980, and the First Under Peter Wheeler’s Ownership.

Powered by Rover’s 4.3L V8, Producing 280hp and 305lb·ft Backed by Rover’s 5 Speed Manual, the Griffith was an Instant Success, with Domestic Production being Forced to Halt for a Period in 1993 so that they could Focus on Fulfilling their Export Market Demands.

This Delightful Deep Metallic Blue Griffith was Delivered New in the UK and Received its First Registration on the 12th of March 1992, Making it a Very Early Example. Sold by its First Owner in the 14th of September 1994 the Second Owner Brought the TVR with him when he Emigrated to Australia, with Import Approval on the 31st of January 1996.

With a Fantastic History File Encompassing its 27 Year Life, this TVR is a Superb Example of Enthusiasts who were Able to Catch the Imagination of a Generation, and Back it With Known Performance.
