From 1989 onwards Porsche dropped the ‘S’ Designation from the Turbo S, thus Condensing the 944 Range by Enhancing all Turbo’s to Turbo S Specification. This Included the More Powerful M44/52 Engine, Uprated Trans-Axle with both a Higher Friction Clutch, a Limited Slip Differential and the Ever Important 928 S4’s Front Brembo 4 Piston Calipers & 12” Disc Rotors.

This 1990 Model Year, September 1989 Build 944 Turbo was Delivered New by Scuderia Veloce Motors in Sydney NSW on 2nd February 1990 to Mr D.Barr of Wahroonga NSW. Finished in it’s Original Colour Combination of Panthero Metallic with Black Leather Interior Trim, this 944 Presents Superbly Original, with the Only Noticeable Variation being the Fitment of a Porsche 993’s Becker Grand Prix CD Player Stereo.

The History File shows Just 4 Owners, with the Third Retaining the Turbo from 1995 – 2018, in which time he Covered Near to 190,000km, Moved State Twice and even Imported and Exported the 944 Into and Out of New Zealand, when his Work Required him to move. During his Ownership the Porsche was Fitted with a Koni Cup Coil Over Suspension Kit (as per the M030 Option), and was Maintained Religiously.
