A REAL TIME WARP CLASSIC

The E30, launched in 1984, was the second generation of BMW’s now iconic 3 Series, some would suggest that this was the last of the real Driver Focussed BMWs. The E30 Series II 318i was launched in 1987 and continued through until 1994, this brought with it many upgrades including the M40B18 engine, which was rated at 111bhp, compared with the 104bhp of the earlier model and is considered to be the one to buy today.

This Second Series E30 318i, Delivered new on the 1st of February 1990 by Peter Menere BMW in Melbourne, is an absolutely Stunning example in almost Flawless Zinnoberrot/Vermilion (the last year that this popular colour was available) with Chrome and Matt Black Accents. In Contrast to the Vermilion Coachwork is the BMW’s Grey and Black Cloth/Velour Interior, in Pristine condition, showing very little sign of wear. The Interior features an Optional Manual Sunroof, the original BMW Radio/Cassette Player and Air Conditioning, all making the Cabin of this 318i a lovely place to be.

Mechanically, this BMW has not been tampered with, it features the Proven M40 B18, Electronic Fuel Injected Engine coupled to the Getrag 240 5 Speed Gearbox. A full Main Dealer Service History accompanies the 318i giving a good insight in the history of this Lovely BMW including 6 Cam Belt changes with less than 1,000 km travelled since the most Recent Change. There has also been a recent Routine Service and Air Conditioning Service.

If you walk down to the other end of this 318i and open the Boot, you will be Greeted with a boot space that appears to have Hardly been Used. The Original, Comprehensive Tool Kit is complete and all the other original items are there and in their proper places.
