LIGHTWEIGHT BURGUNDY EFI V8

After it’s Introduction in 1968 the ‘Plus 8’ Morgan Stayed in Production Until 2004, in this time it Saw 6 Engine Variations, 5 Fuel Systems and 4 Different Gearboxes. Those Built Between 1983 and 1990 were Fitted with: Electronic Fuel Injection, the 9.75:1 Compression 3.5L V8 and the All-Synchro Leyland LT77 5 Speed Manual Gearbox.

This ‘Plus 8’ Features Lightweight Aluminium Bodywork, Including the Louvred Bonnet, Doors, Front & Rear Guards, Rear Shroud and even the Front & Rear Bumper Bars, all on top of a Galvanised Chassis with a Hardwood Frame.

The Lightweight Bodywork has been Finished in a Lovely Shade of Burgundy, and is Complemented by a Black Leather Interior, Providing a Superb Contrast. The Interior also Features a Burr Walnut Dashboard, MotoLita Wood Rimmed Steering Wheel and a Philips CD Player.

Sold new through ‘Thomson & Potter Ltd’ in Burrelton, Scotland in February 1989, the Morgan is Supported by it’s Original Handbook (Including Service History) as well as Invoices from 2000 Onward and MOT’s from 1994 -2013, with the ‘Plus 8’ Travelling a Current Total of Just 53,000 miles.

The Weather Equipment is Complete and in Near-New Condition, Including: a Black Vinyl Tonneau Cover, Black Everflex Soft Top, Black Soft Top Cover and Black Sliding Perspex Side Curtains, Allowing You to Enjoy the Plus 8 No Matter the Weather.

Mechanically the ‘Plus 8’ is Very Healthy, with a Number of Upgrades, Including: EZ Electric Power Steering, an Extractor Exhaust System, Thermatic Fan and a ‘Suplex’ Front Suspension & Steering Damper Kit Fitted.
