Introduced in 1983 the Range Topping ‘Super Seven 1600 Cosworth BDR’ Utilised a Cosworth 16 Valve Cylinder Head, Cosworth Pistons, 11.0:1 Compression, Belt Driven Twin Cams, Twin 40DCOE Webers and a Ford 711M Kent Block to Produce a Claimed 150 BHP at 6500RPM, Outshining the Previous Lotus Twin Cam Engine, Rated at 126 BHP at 6500RPM.

The Near 20% Power Increase was Incredibly Evident in the Extremely Lightweight Seven, Allowing a 0-60mph Sprint in just 5.3 Seconds and a Claimed Top Speed Near to 120mph!

Imported into Australia from Japan in 2010, where it was said to have Inspired the ‘1/12 Scale Master Coachwork Model by Tamiya’ the BDR Seven is Offered For Sale with an Original, Never Assembled Example of the Highly Collectable Tamiya Kit.
