The Very Successful Peugeot 504, Introduced in 1968 and Styled by Pininfarina was Voted European Car of the Year in 1969, Becoming Renowned for its Styling, Robust Structure, Visibilty, Engine and Ride Quality with Long Suspension Travel Providing Excellent Rough Terrain Ability, the 504 was Ideally Suited to Countries such as Africa, Asia and Australia.

The 504’s European Production Totalled More than 3 Million Units, with the French Production Halting in 1983, However the 504 was to Stay in Production All Over the World through CKD’s Extending the Production to 2006!

This 504 GLD (Diesel) is Powered by Peugeot’s 2.3 Litre 4 Cylinder Diesel Engine Coupled to a 4 Speed Manual Gearbox. The Diesel Engine Option was First Fitted to 504’s in 1970 as a 2112cc Version which was Subsequently Enlarged to 2304cc in 1976, Increasing the Power from 65bhp to 70bhp.
