FRESHLY RESTORED ITALIAN MASTERPIECE

Launched at the 1966 Turin Motor Show the Fiat 124 Spider was an Immediate Success. Based on the Shortened Platform of the Fiat 124 Berlina, the 124 Spider Featured the Brand New Lampredi Twin Cam Engine and Styling by Pininfarina’s Prodigy Tom Tjaarda. The Styling is a Masterwork, that Delivers a Fresh Look While Retaining Iconic Pininfarina Design Cues. With Four Wheel Disc Brakes and Well Engineered Suspension, the Fiat was Ahead of Its Time Compared to Other Sports Cars of the Period.

Released in 1979, the CS2 Variant Introduced the Two Litre Engine to the Lineup. This Lovely Red First Year Example with Black Interior Trim was Imported into Australia in 2001, at which time the Restoration was Commenced. Due to ill health the Restoration was Put on Hold around 2004, with the Incomplete Project Sold in 2006. After a Period of Inactivity, where the Fiat was Kept in Dry Storage the Restoration was Completed, Now Presenting in Fantastic Condition, the High Standard of Restoration is Evident.

This Spider is Currently Road Registered in Victoria, with a VASS Approval Certificate for the Right Hand Drive Conversion, which Utilised Standard Fiat 124 Coupe Componentry. The Engine has been Uprated to Euro Spec, with More Compression and a Better Flowing Exhaust System.
