ORIGINAL BOOKS, CARBURETTORED 308 NOW IN RHD

Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti of Pininfarina to both Replace the 206/246 Dino (of his design) and Sit Alongside Bertone’s 308 GT4 the Ferrari 308 GTB was Introduced at the 1975 Paris Motor Show, with the 308 GTS to follow Two Years Later at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Produced Only with Steel Bodywork and Fitted with the Wet Sump F106 3 Litre V8, the GTS’ Targa Top Bodywork Allowed for More Leisurely Driving, with the Option of Top-Off Cruising, as well as Roof-On Sprints.

This ‘Grigio Ferro’ 308 GTS was Sold New in Miami Florida on the 28th of November 1979 to Kenneth Kirchman, the Owner and Founder of ‘Florida Software Services Inc’ as a Company Car. FSS Inc Specialised in Banking Software and was Later Re-Branded as Kirchman Corp, with Ken Kirchman Noted as “A Pioneer in the Banking Software Industry”.

Australian Import Approval was Received on the 4th of November 2010, and Straight Away Plans were put Into Action for the 308’s Right Hand Drive Conversion, which was Signed Off with a Compliance Report Dated the 29th of October 2012, Followed by Full New South Wales Registration.

Most Recently the GTS has been Maintained by Sports and Classic Car Services in Braeside Victoria, Including Replacement of Timing Belts and Tensioners in October 2017 at 48,868 miles (1,700 miles ago).
