LIGHTWEIGHT & FIRST OF THE 5 SPEEDS

After it’s Introduction in 1968 the Plus 8 Morgan Stayed in Production Until 2004, in this time is Saw Six Engine Variations, 5 Fuel Systems and 4 Different Gearboxes. Those Built Between 1977 and 1981 are said to be the Highest Specification of the Originals, with their Twin SU Carburettors, the 9.35:1 Compression 3.5L V8 and the All-Synchro 5 Speed Manual Gearbox.

This Special Order, Plus 8 Features Lightweight Aluminium Bodywork, Including the Louvrered Bonnet, Doors, Front & Rear Guards, Rear Panelwork and even the Front & Rear Bumper Bars!

The Lightweight Bodywork has been Finished in a Lovely Shade of Navy Blue, and is Complemented by a Dark Red Leather Interior, Providing a Superb Contrast. The Interior also Features a Burr Walnut Dashboard, Leather Bound Steering wheel and a Panasonic CD Player.

The Weather Equipment is Complete and in Near-New Condition, Including: a Black Vinyl Tonneau Cover, Blue Fabric Soft Top, Blue Soft Top Cover and Blue Sliding Perspex Side Curtains, Allowing you to Enjoy the Plus 8 No Matter the Weather.

Mechanically the Plus 8 is Very Healthy, with it’s Twin HS6 SU’s in Great Tune, an Extractor Exhaust System, a Remote Oil Filter, Oil Cooler, Thermatic Fan, Twin Brake Boosters, Igniter 2 Electronic Ignition and an After-Market Steering Damper Kit Fitted.
