LATE MODEL CLASSIC MGB

On its Release in 1962 the MGB became an Instant Success, With its Modern Clean and Smooth Styling the MGB went on to become the World’s best selling sports car and stayed in production until 1980. 1977 saw the last major updates to the MGB range including anti-roll bars front and rear, dual circuit brakes, a collapsible steering column, electric cooling fans and many other upgrades.

Following its Importation to Australia, this US Delivered MGB was Converted to RHD and awarded Compliance on the 6th November 1998, it has also had the heavy, black rubber bumpers removed, a common modification on the later MGBs, in this case, rather than fitting chrome bumpers it has been fitted with Sebring style front and rear valances.

This MGB Presents Well finished in Classic MG Red with Genuine ‘Minilite’ Alloy Wheels complimenting the Sebring look, Under the bonnet there are a few sensible upgrades that further enhance the MGB in the shape of a 40mm Dellorto Twin Choke Carburettor on a Warneford Manifold, Sports Air Filter, an Extractor Exhaust System and a Crane FireBall XR700 Ignition.

The contrasting Black Interior is Accented by Red Piping on the Comfortable, Cloth seats, an ‘Autotechnica’ Steering Wheel, a Wooden Gear Knob and a Sony CD/Radio with a Power Amp to play Your Favourite Tunes, a Smiths Heater will keep You Warm, while the Inertia Reel Seatbelts will keep You Secure and if the Weather Turns the Black Vinyl Soft-Top will Provide You Protection from the Elements while the H4 Headlights will ensure that you can see your way Home.

This MGB is a Well Balanced Package and Ideal for Sunday lunch in the Hills but equally capable of the Daily Commute and putting Smile on your Face.
