On its Release the MGB became an Instant Success. The Path had been Set for a Series of Cars which would Continue in Production for 18 Years, Selling over 500,000 Examples. Its Clean Lines, Proportions and Relatively Simple Mechanicals were a Hit with Enthusiasts, of All Skill Levels.

The GT was First Released in 1965 with their Coupe Styling Offering Many Advantages Including: Reduced Road Noise, a Weatherproof Cabin, a Much Larger Amount of Usable Storage Room, Rear Seats and Most Importantly a Lockable and Secure Cabin.

This 1976 MGB GT Presents Well with its Glossy Green Paint, Black Interior Trim, with Walnut Veneer Dash and Nicely Trimmed Seats in Tan. The GT is Standard Externally, Apart from the Fitting of a Webasto-Style SunRoof and Still Sits on Original Rostyle Factory Steel Wheels.

Mechanically Standard Except for the Aluminium Radiator and Electric Cooling Fan to Improve Cooling in the Warmer Weather and Stop Start Driving. The Four Cylinder 1798cc Engine Still Provides Sporting Period Performance, while the Four Speed Gearbox with Overdrive is a Delight to Use and Adds to the Classic Driving Experience as does the Rack and Pinion Steering which is Both Light and Precise.
