MGB WITH SERIOUS PERFORMANCE

Following in the Foot Steps of Ken Costello, this 1975 MGB Received a Heart Transplant by Melbourne’s MG Workshops, Replacing the 1798cc 4 Cylinder Engine with the ubiquitous Rover All Alloy V8, Just As Ken had Done Prior to MG Producing the Factory MGB GT V8 in 1973

This MGB V8 carries Build Number 110 by MG Workshops, who built many MGB V8s from the late 1980’s onwards, this consisted of a full restoration of the donor MG, in this case a 1975 MGB Roadster. The 1975 MGB used the same dashboard as the original Factory MGB V8, giving it that Well Engineered, Factory Feel.

Mechanically, this MGB has a Very Well Built Rover V8 that is fitted with the “Federal” EFI system, Free Flowing MG RV8 style Exhaust Manifolds, an Alloy Radiator and of course Twin Electric fans. The more than adequate power is transmitted through a 5 speed Tremec Gearbox to a BorgWarner 3.08:1 LSD Rear End running 14×6” 8 spoke Performance Alloy Wheels, with stopping power supplied by 4 pot calipers on ventilated discs up front and 2 pot calipers on solid discs at the Rear.

The MG Workshops restored body presents very well in Tartan Red paint with a contrasting black leather interior. The leather seats create a very comfortable cockpit while the driver and passenger are well secured by 4 point harnesses.

This MGB V8 Roadster is just waiting for its new owner to enjoy the fantastic classic sports car experience that it can offer. Whether it be a run to your favourite coffee shop on a Saturday morning or a blast through the mountains on a Sunday, this MGB V8 is sure to delight.
