Produced for 8 years from 1968 – 1976, The TR6 was at the time, Triumph’s best selling model from the TR line up, with a total production of almost 92,000 cars. Powered by a 2.5 litre straight six fitted with either Lucas mechanical fuel injection, producing 124/150 BHP or Twin Stromberg Carburettors, producing 104 BHP, the Performance of the TR6 was Excellent with a top speed of 120MPH.

This particular Australian TR6 has undergone a Comprehensive Restoration. Finished in its Factory Correct colour of Mimosa Yellow with Black Interior trim and Matching Black Soft Top, it Presents Incredibly Well.

In 1999 the Straight Six was Fully Reconditioned and Subject to a Number of Modifications which both Improved the Performance and Drivability. The Lucas Mechanical Fuel Injection was replaced with Electronic Fuel Injection, whilst the distributor was also replaced with a multi-coil pack system, all controlled by a Wolf 3D Programmable Engine Management System. This offers Significant Advantages in Both Performance and Fuel Economy. The Engine has also been fitted with: an Extractor Exhaust System, a New Performance Camshaft, Roller Rockers, Performance Baffled Sump, and Oil Cooler.

A Comprehensive File Accompanying the TR6 Contains invoices for Parts and Work Conducted Over a Number of Years, as well as Information on the Wolf 3D Engine Management System and CD-ROM file for the TR6 set-up.

This is a Beautiful Example of a Restored TR6 with some Very Sensible, as well as Desirable Improvements. The Performance from the Improved Engine, Coupled with the Typically Smooth Triumph 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive makes Driving a Delight. The TR has also been fitted with a Removable Roll Bar for Added Driver Protection and Combined with the Engine Upgrades make it Ideally Suited to your Weekend/Weekday Cruise Through the Hills or the Occasional Club Level Competition Event.
