BRIGHT ORANGE AND NO JOKE!

The Mini Moke was Conceived in an Attempt by BMC to Produce a Utility Vehicle Suitable for use by the Armed Forces. It Failed the Required Offroad Ground Clearance Requirements and was Deemed Unsuitable. It was then Decided to Market the Moke as a Civilian Utility Vehicle where it Gained a Cult-like Following.

This 1974 Australian Leyland Moke Certainly Stands Out from the rest with its’ Bright Orange Metallic Painted Approximately 8 inch Widened Body, Allowing the Fitment of 13”x 7” Minilite Style Alloy Wheels and 205/60R13 Tyres.

To Compliment the Metallic Orange Bodywork, the Cockpit Trim has been Trimmed in Black with Bold Orange Centre Stripes and a ‘Mountney’ 11” Diameter Leather-bound Steering Wheel has been Fitted.

Mechanically the Moke Benefits from Upgraded, Front Disc Brakes as well as SPAX Krypton Telescopic Shock Absorbers Front & Rear, while the Single HS4 Carburettor with a Ramflo Sports Filter Breathes Easier with an Extractor Exhaust System.

To Further Improve the Experience a Pioneer Stereo System has been Installed with Two Large Rearward Facing Speakers Mounted Under the Front Seats, while a Substantial Rollbar with an Integrated High Mount Third Brake Light Provides Extra Occupant Security.
