Unveiled at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, the Fiat 130 Coupe was a complete Pininfarina redesign, wearing unique bodywork and interior trim, only sharing it’s mechanical package with the 130 Sedan, a credit to it’s lead designer Paolo Martin.

With a total of 4,491 Coupes built over Seven years, just 513 were built in Right Hand Drive, representing just 11.4% of production, making this Australian Delivered Factory Right Hand Drive Example a Rare and sort after Luxury Grand Tourer.

Purchased by it’s most recent custodian in July of 1989, the 130 Coupe was sold with a Victorian Roadworthy Certificate, but, it was decided that more extensive work would be required to get the Fiat up to the new owner’s standard. Major body and paintwork was carried out in 1990 by Cresta Body Repairs, including any and all rust repairs required, as well as bare metal paintwork.

Due to life circumstances the Fiat was left untouched for nearly 25 years, until 2017 when enthusiasm kicked the project into gear and the 130 was sent to ‘The Healey Factory’ for a full Mechanical inspection and all works required to return the Fiat 130 to the road. Since then the Fiat has been brought back to excellent operational condition with over $60,000 of receipts detailing the extensive work completed. The accompanying history file comprises of these recent receipts, earlier receipts and information dating back to 1989.

This 1974 Fiat 130 Coupe looks resplendent in its metallic silver Pinninfarina coachwork sitting on grey, factory, Cromodora alloy wheels. The exterior is set off by ‘70s opulence of the blue velour interior with its polished wooden door capping and dash, featuring a full complement of Veglia gauges, there is also a pair of rear window sun blinds, electric windows and factory air conditioning, all the height of luxury in the early ‘70s.
