Following the Successful Introduction of Triumph’s 2.5L Straight Six in the TR5 & TR250, Triumph Started Production on the TR6 in Late 1968, Ready for the Market in January 1969, with Production Continuing till July 1976, by which time 91,850 TR6’s were Built.

Built in February 1972, this ‘CC’ Code TR6 would have been Sold New to the US, with it’s Twin Stromberg Carburettors Capable of meeting the American Emissions Standards, while the Lucas Mechanical Injection Failed.

Now Finished in the Attractive Combination of ‘Carmine Red’, with ‘New Tan’ Trim, this TR6 is Accented by the Lovely Wooden Dash, Leather Bound Momo Steering Wheel and Bright Chromework.

Mechanically the TR6 is in Great Shape, with Recent Work Including Rebuilding the Twin CD175 Carbs, Fitment of a High Torque Starter Motor, Rebuilding of the Speedometer, Replacement of Engine Mounts & Lower Inner Control Arm Bushes as well as the Fitment of Pertronix Ignitor Electronic Ignition.

The Rack and Pinion Steering is Light and Precise, Directing the TR6 Wherever you Please, with the Independent Suspension at Both the Front and Rear providing a Smoother more Compliant Ride than Other Cars of the Period with Live Rear Axles, Allowing for Comfortable Touring.
