LATE AUSTRALIAN MkII with OVERDRIVE

With an Australian Compliance Plate Dated 05/72, this Locally Assembled MkII with Overdrive is a Very late Australian CKD MG B. Benefiting from being a Later MkII, the Sky Blue MG has Greater Safety and Creature Comforts, Including Headrests, Rubber Inserted Over-Riders Front & Rear, Face Level Vents and Fitment of the Optional Smiths Heater.

Presenting Very Smartly, in it’s Original Combination of Sky Blue with Contrasting Black Trim, this MkII MGB is Highlighted by its Sparkling Chrome Wire Wheels, and Brightwork, while the Cabin is pleasingly Original, the only non standard additions being a Leather Bound Sports Steering Wheel and a Sterling Cassette Radio.

Mechanically Very Standard, with only Reliability/Safety Improvements Including: a Thermo Fan, Spin-On Oil Filter Conversion, H4 Headlamps, Inertia Reel Seat Belts, a Mechanical Brake Light Switch and a Battery Isolator, all Providing a True Period Experience, Without the Concern of Being Let Down.

For Inclement Weather the MG B is Provided with a Lovely Tonneau Cover, Tailored for both Headrests and the Steering Wheel as well as an Older, but very usable Soft Top, Both Finished in Black.

This Lovely MG B Drives very well with a good Strong Engine and the Overdrive gearbox, which give you the ideal ratio for every condition. This MG B is practical enough to add some Fun to your daily commute on sunny days or for an Enjoyable lunch in the Hill on the Weekend.
