30 YEARS OF V8 DEVELOPMENT

Following in the Foot Steps of Ken Costello, this 1972 MG B GT Received a Heart Transplant in 1991, Replacing the 1798cc 4 Cylinder Engine with a 3.5L Rover All Alloy V8, Just As Ken had Done Prior to British Leyland Producing the Factory V8 Equipped B GT in 1973

Documentation Supplied with the MG Shows Four Owners from 1982-2021, with the Second, B.Egerton of NSW, Owning the GT From the 6th of July 1985 Till the 2nd of April 2011. It was Under Mr Egerton’s Ownership that the MG was Converted to a V8, with the B GT Receiving it’s Engineers Certificate on the 8th of March 1991.

Following Mr Egerton, P.Richards of Vic Purchased the MG on the 2nd of April 2011, Mr Richards Continued where Mr Egerton had Left off, with the Instalment of a New Larger Rover V8, Fitment of a Reconditioned W58 5 Speed Gearbox as well the Conversion to a Commodore (BorgWarner) 3.08:1 LSD Rear End, Including Rear Disc Brakes Between July & August 2011.

Sold Again, to the Most Recent Owner, on the 5th of August 2015, the B GT Continued to be Further Developed, with the Engine Fully Rebuilt in 2020 to a High Specification, Resulting in Just Under 200Hp At The Rear Wheels. To Handle the Power, the Brakes were Upgraded with 4 Piston Wilwood Calipers on the Front, a Willwood Twin Boosted Master and Wilwood Bias Control. Further Improvements Include High Backed MX5 Seats, Harness Seat Belts, Gaz Adjustable Telescopic Shock Absorbers, Full Custom Fabricated Exhaust System, MSD Electronic Ignition and Much, Much More!
