HEAVY ON FUN, LIGHT ON BUDGET

The Midget’s linage started in 1959 with the launch of the Austin Healey Sprite, Over the years the Bug Eyes Disappeared, Engine Capacity Increased and an MG version was added in 1961. The MG Midget was differentiated from the Sprite by badges and more Up Market Trim, Badge Engineering at its Best. By 1971 the Engine Size had increased to 1275cc, carpets had replaced the rubber mats and the MG Midget had developed into a far more Powerful and Comfortable Machine, but had lost none if its Fun.

This Australian Assembled, Crystal White MkIII Midget is a good example of the model and In recent years it has been the Subject of a Thorough Mechanical Overhaul, which has included but not limited to the Braking System, the Transmission, the Suspension/Steering, the Cooling System and the interior Trim.

The inside of the Midget is a very comfortable place to be with its Recently Fitted Black Vinyl Soft Top and Re-Trimmed and Heated Seats with the Wood Rim Steering Wheel providing a decidedly Sporting Feel.

Running on Wire Wheels and backed by the Iconic 1275cc BMC A-Series 4 Cylinder engine with the wonderful sound of its sports exhaust, this Lovely MG Midget is a Confidence Inspiring British Two Seat Convertible, Capable of both Spirited Driving on Twisting Roads, and Touring on the Wide Open Road.
