The MG B is one of the most popular and iconic sports cars of all time, blessed with simple and reliable mechanicals and easily available spare & performance parts these British roadsters are one of the easiest classic sports cars to own and maintain. The MG B was produced between 1962 and 1980, with over half a million built and underwent a program of constant development over this time.

This Red MkII is a UK manufactured Home Market British Leyland example, believed to have had four only owners. The ‘B’ was a personal import to Mt Eliza Victoria, first registered in ~1977, then purchased by its next custodian in 1985 and enjoyed for 14 years, before being held for 3 years, then again landing in long term ownership from 2002 – 2026. The included service history file dating to 1984 indicates the mileage of ~86,800 to be genuine.

The contrasting black interior presents in very good condition with original steering wheel, carpet floor mats, headrests, original Smiths heater, a stereo/cassette system and immobiliser, while the weather equipment includes both a soft top hood and a tonneau cover in original style black vinyl. The MG B is in very much standard specification mechanically.
