This Brilliantly Prepared and Presented LC Torana is Australia’s Most Successful LC/LJ Torana Targa Rally car. Boasting an Extremely Enviable Competition Record of 1 Outright Podium, 15 Class Wins, 1 Class Second and only 3 DNF’s, out of the 19 events entered in it’s 10 year competition history.

Owned and Campaigned since 2007 by Brian & Linda Dermott of Mansfield, ‘Kermit’ (as it was nicknamed due to the Lime Green Livery) has undergone Continuous Development and Improvement. The Reliability and Performance of ‘Kermit’ is due to the Incredibly High Standard of Preparation, Workmanship and Technical Input from specialists such as, Mansfield Motorsport, Gary Bodinnar and Ron Harrop.

The 3.3 litre engine is based on the Holden 202 cubic inch Red Motor and produces a Reliable and Thumping 282 Flywheel BHP, this Raw Power is delivered through an M21 Gearbox fitted with Pfitzner straight-cut gears and a 3.55:1 Tru-Trac LSD. Keeping all this power on the ground is the Rally Suspension comprising King Springs, Koni Dampers, and Uprated Sway Bars and Bushes. Braking is handled by power boosted Front Discs with AP Racing 4 Pot Calipers and Rear Discs with R31 Skyline Calipers, and an Adjustable Balance Valve controlling the front/rear bias.

All the Modifications, Improvements, Settings and Expenditure have been Comprehensively Documented in a Meticulously kept File, detailing Dates, Part Numbers and Parts Suppliers. The file also contains the CAMS Vehicle Log Book, the Victorian Rally Advisory Panel inspection report and most recent Scrutiny Report.

Accompanying the Torana are a Large Number of Spares, including (but not limited to): New Front and Rear Brake Rotors, New Front and Rear Pads, Red Motor Cylinder Head, Black Motor Knife Edged Crank, Optional Camshaft, Complete 3.36 Rear Axle (as well assecond 3.36 & 3.08 Diffs) and 10 Wheels with 3 Sets of used tyres. There is also a Spare Front Subframe and Suspension Unit as well as 4 boxes of assorted used engine parts.
