After 6 years of Production, and Two Previous Generations the 1970, Third Gen Plymouth Barracuda was Finally Able to Shake the ‘Economy Muscle Car’ Image it had Previously Earned, with it’s New ‘Pure Muscle Car’ Styling and Performance Packages. The Third Gen was Available as Either a Coupe of Convertible in Three Different Specifications, the ‘Barracuda’ (BH) being the Base Model, the ‘Barracuda Gran Coupe’ (BP) being the Luxury Variant and the ‘Cuda’ (BS) as the Top Performance Model.

Imported to Australia Previous to 2012, this Original Left Hand Drive 1970 Barracuda (BH) has been Beautifully Restored, and Uprated in Specification Both Mechanically and Visually. Maintained to a Very High Standard Since it’s Arrival to Victoria in Mid 2012, the Invoice History Details in Excess of $25,000 Worth of Spending.

Originally Delivered with a 318ci 2 Barrel and 904 Torqueflite Automatic Transmission, the Plymouth is Now fitted with a Period Correct (’66-’72) & Worked ‘440ci’ V8 with ‘Six Pak’ Carburettors, a 5 Speed Tremec Manual with Pistol Grip Shifter, a Set of HPC Coated Hooker Competition Extractors and MSD Ignition.

Presenting in Striking Purple/Blue Metallic with White 440 Hockey Stripes this Barracuda has been Professionally Fitted with a Silver ‘Cuda Shaker Bubble Kit, Allowing for Improved Engine Breathing. The Interior has been Trimmed in White, with the Black Carpets and Dash, Accented by Wooden Features Including the Centre Console, Steering Wheel and Instrument Panel.
