LAST OF THE AUSTRALIAN ROUND NOSE MINIS

Built in New South Whales with 80% Local Components, the Australian Only Morris Mini K (K standing for Kangaroo) was Built between March 1969 and August 1971, and was BMC’s Answer to the Australia’s Harsher Conditions, with Superior Ventilation through the Swivelling Quaterlights and Wind Up Windows, and a 1098cc Engine to Help you Travel Across the Vast Australian Country Side.

This Baltic Blue & Crystal White Mini K was Lovingly Restored Just Shy of 10 Years Ago, by it’s Most Recent Owner, in Tasmania. The Bodywork was Finished to a Superb Standard, with Great Gaps, and a Fantastic Shine, Complemented by the Wonderful Brightwork, that is Both Untarnished & Straight.

The Interior was Retrimmed in Black, with Contrasting Baltic Blue Internal Bodywork. Wood Rimmed SAAS Steering Wheel has been Fitted to Add to the Sporting Nature of the ‘K’, as well as an After Market Column Mounted Tacho, with Adjustable Shift Light.

Mechanically the Mini Drives Brilliantly, with the 1098cc A-Series & All Synchro Gearbox in Wonderful Condition. The 1098 Feels Very Strong, with Signs of Mechanical Improvement Including Higher Compression, a much More Sporting Cam and a HS4 SU Carburettor.
