After the 1959 Debut of the Revolutionary, Morris Mini-Minor, it was just a Short 2 Years before John Cooper Introduced to the World, the First Mini “Cooper”, with the “S” following a Further 2 Years Later, in 1963.

September 1965 Marked the Introduction of Australia’s Cooper S, Imported by BMC in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) Form, and Assembled Using Local Components to Our very own Specification, Including Wind up Windows with Pivoting Quarter Lights and Hydrolastic Suspension.

This 1970 Australian Cooper S MkII presents in the Classic Combination of White Over Blue, with Black Vinyl Interior Trim. The Cabin Featuring the almost Obligatory Column Mounted Smiths Tachometer and a Sports Woodrim Steering Wheel.

The File Accompanying the Cooper S Contains Invoices for various Service and Mechanical Work carried out, as well as Previous Registration Documents and Notes concerning the History of the Mini from Previous Owners.
