Built between 1965 and 1969, the 912 was Essentially a Combination of Two of Motoring Histories Most Iconic Cars, an Engine Derived from the Porsche 356, Mated to the Body Styling of the Long Bonnet 911’s.
Driven Off the Production Line on the 7th of February 1969, this 912 was Sold New through ‘Art Janpol VW’ of Alberquerque New Mexico, via ‘Porsche Cars Southwest’ of San Antonio Texas to ‘Francis Murray’ of Durango Colorado on the 23rd of May 1969.
On the 5th on June 1981, Francis Murray Sold the then 12 Year Old Porsche to Rhett Murray of Aurora Colorado, who Retained the 912 Until it was Sold to a Victorian on the 22nd of January 2018.
With Import Approval Granted on the 7th of February 2018, 49 Years, To The Day After Build Completion, the 912 Waited another 4 Months before Arriving in Australia in June. Upon Arrival, the 912 Received Both a VASS Certificate (required by VicRoads due to the manufacture date falling between 1969 & 1989) and a Victorian Road Worthy Certificate.
Following Just 941 Miles of Use in Australia, the 912 Arrived at Auto Coupe, where the Most Recent Owner Spent Over $14,000 Turning this Porsche into the Fantastic Example It Is Today!
