The iconic British Sports car, the MG B provided an incredible package at an affordable price. With simple, yet elegant styling and a strong performing yet reliable drive line the MG B was a hit!

Purchased new from “Hollins Motors” of East Prahran by Mr Vernon J Wilson on the 17th of January 1969, this MG B MkII is being offered for sale for just the second time!

This Australian MGB, finished in British Racing Green was fitted from near new with a “J&S” fibreglass GTB hardtop/fastback conversion, which were produced in Sydney. Popular in the 60’s & 70’s these hardtops provided greater useably as well as comfort and safety, and with the BGT never built in Australia provided a true Aussie B Tourer.

The removable nature of the Hardtop allows for this MkII to be used all year round with a sealed roof & Smiths Heater for the wetter months, and open top motoring when the sun’s out.

The interior trim is in fantastic condition, owing to the extra protection from the elements provided by the hardtop, including the original steering wheel.

Offered with original delivery books and paperwork, as well as service, insurance and registration documents spanning its full single ownership.
