A THORNLESS PRIMROSE – E-Z POWER STEER

Originally Conceived as a Replacement for the Austin Healey 3000, the MG C was Designed around the MG B, Fitted with the Redesigned BMC ‘C’ Series 6 Cylinder Engine, now with 7 Main Bearings, Offering a Package with 53% More Power and 55% More Torque than the 1798cc 4 Cylinder MGB. The Front Suspension was also Re-Engineered with the use of Torsion Bars and Telescopic Shock Absorbers, Replacing the Coil Springs and Lever-Arm Shock Absorbers.

This US Delivered MG C GT Presents Exceptionally Well Finished in its Factory Original Colour of Pale Primrose Yellow with Black Cockpit Interior, which Features a Pioneer Stereo as well as E-Z Electric Power Steering through a 14” Leather Bound Steering Wheel Allowing You to Tailor the Amount of Steering Assistance to Your Individual Need, Removing the MG’s Thorn in it’s side, the Much Maligned, Heavy and Cumbersome Steering.

Accompanying the MG C GT is a Comprehensive Receipt File for Parts and Mechanical Works, this File Confirms the MG Resided in California with One Owner from 1975 Until 1987, before Migrating to South Australia around 1992 when it was Converted to RHD and was Subsequently Treated to a Complete Engine Rebuild and Reconditioned Differential in 1994. Further Receipts Indicate that the Cylinder Head was fitted with New Valve Guides, Valve Seats and Premium Valves in 2001 whilst in 2015 a Hi-Torq Starter Motor was Fitted as was a New PBR VH44 Brake Booster and a New Clutch Assembly in 2018.

This MG C GT Drives Exceedingly Well with the Lusty 3 Litre Engine Coupled to the 4 Speed Gearbox with Overdrive Providing Superb Period Performance as well as Long-Legged Cruising Ability.
