RED MkII WITH OVERDRIVE
Built between 1968 and the early months of 1970, the ‘Pre L’ MkII MG B is known as the market’s favourite, due to the combination of the MkII’s mechanical upgrades, including a stronger all Synchro gearbox and optional overdrive and the early uncompromising styling.
This ‘Pre L’ MkII presents in the iconic combination of Red contrasted by a classic Black interior featuring wide backed vinyl seats and black carpet. For inclement weather the MG is equipped with a Black vinyl soft top hood, that is easily stowed in the boot.
The cockpit is equipped with its original Smiths heater, a period-style woodrim Moto-Lita steering wheel, and a Sony CD Tuner.
The ‘B’ drives well with the engine and gearbox providing good period performance in unmodified, standard specification whilst the overdrive allows effortless highway cruising ability. MG B’s are renowned for their light and precise rack and pinion steering and this example is no different.
If you are looking for a classic British sports car for your weekend cruise to the coast, navigating the winding mountain roads, or just nipping out for your morning coffee, then this MG B MkII may be the one for you.
