AN ICONIC RED MkII WITH OVERDRIVE
Built Between 1968 and the Early Months of 1970, the ‘Pre L’ MkII MG B is Known as the Market’s Favourite, this is Due to the Combination of the MkII’s Mechanical Upgrades, Including a Stronger All Synchro Gearbox and Optional Overdrive, and the Early Uncompromised Styling.
This MkII Presents as a Very Tidy Example, Finished in the Iconic Combination of Red with a Classic Black Interior. The Interior Trim is in Good Condition for its age, as is the Soft Top Hood.
In the Cockpit there are a Couple of Non-Standard Additions, a Period-Style MotoLita Woodrim Steering Wheel and the Pioneer Stereo/CD Player, while External Additions Include a Pair of Bumper-Mounted Driving Lights and a Boot Mounted Luggage Rack.
The ‘B’ Drives Well with the Engine and Gearbox Providing Good Period Performance, Aided by Electronic Ignition, Extractors and a Thermatic Fan, whilst the Overdrive Allows Effortless Highway Cruising Ability. MGB’s are Renowned for their Light and Precise Rack and Pinion Steering and This Example is No Different.
If you are Looking for a Classic British Sports Car for your Weekend Cruise to the Coast, Navigating the Winding Mountain Roads, or just Nipping Out for your Morning Coffee, then this MGB MkII may be The One For You.
