1961 Marked the Introduction of Australia’s Mini Production, Imported by BMC in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) Form, and Assembled Using Local Components to our very Own Specification, with the Zetland (NSW) Built MkI Mini Deluxe Well Optioned from New, Featuring Updated Doors with Conventional Door Handles, Wind Up Windows, Pivoting Quarter Vent Windows, Hydrolastic Suspension and the Larger 998cc A-Series Engine.

Sold New on the 5th of February 1968 to Mrs V.C. Keogh of Mount Beauty Victoria, by Baker Motors of Albury NSW, this Snow White Deluxe was First Registered “JXU-941” by the Wodonga Police Station at a cost of $57.62.

Retained by Mrs Keogh Until the Late 90’s when the Mini was Sold for Just the Second Time, to Mr P. Keys of Croydon Victoria, who in turn held the Mini for more than 20 Years.

Now Seeking it’s Third Owner, this Deluxe has Travelled Just 66,218 Miles in 53 Years and Presents Superbly, with a Period Correct, After-Market Timber Dash, Sony Radio/CD Player and Lovely Contrasting Red Trim.

Supported by it’s Original Baker Motors BMC Wallet containing the Mini’s Passport to Service and Drivers Handbook, Invoice for First Registration and the First Registration Document with it’s Second Owner.
