(To be sold Unregistered & with Vic RWC)
CHROME BUMPERS, CHROME WIRES
The MGB is one of the most popular and iconic sports cars of all time, blessed with simple, reliable mechanicals and easily available spare & performance parts, these British roadsters are one of the easiest classic sports cars to own and maintain.
Built Between 1968 and the early months of 1970, the ‘Pre L’ MkII MG B is known as the market’s favourite, this is due to the combination of the MkII’s mechanical upgrades, including the stronger All-Synchro gearbox while retaining the early uncompromised styling.
This ‘Pre L’ MkII presents as a tidy example, finished in the iconic combination of British Racing Green, Chrome Wires and Black trim. Some practical upgrades have been fitted including: a spin-on oil filter conversion, thermatic fan, electronic ignition and H4 halogen headlights.
The smart, black cloth interior trim features later style headrests and a wood-rimmed steering wheel, while the combination of a full tonneau and soft top (including a zip out rear window) are finished in black vinyl.
The ‘B’ drives well with the engine and gearbox providing healthy period performance in near unmodified, standard specification. If you are looking for a classic British sports car for your weekend cruise to the coast, navigating the winding mountain roads, or just nipping out for your morning coffee, then this MGB MkII may be the one for you.
