CHROME WIRES AUSTRALIAN ‘PRE L’ MkII WITH O/D
Built Between 1968 and the Early Months of 1970, the ‘Pre L’ MkII MG B is Known as the Market’s Favourite, this is Due to the Combination of the MkII’s Mechanical Upgrades, Including a Stronger All Synchro Gearbox and Optional Overdrive, and the Early Uncompromised Styling.
This MkII Presents as a Very Tidy Example, Finished in the Iconic Combination of Red with a Classic Black Leather Interior, Accented by a Wood-Rimmed Steering Wheel, an Alpine Stereo/CD Player and Recoil Lap/Sash Seat Belts. Stowed in the Boot are Both the Soft Top and the Tonneau Cover, Providing Ample Weather Protection when necessary.
The ‘B’ Drives Well with the Engine and Overdrive Gearbox Providing Great Period Performance, with the aide of it’s Twin SU Carburettors having been Fully Reconditioned in 2018 by MG Workshops. The Only Deviation from Standard, Mechanically is the Fitment of a Thermo Fan to Help the MG Stay Cool in the Warmer Australian Climate.
MGB’s are Renowned for their Light and Precise Rack and Pinion Steering and This Example is No Different. If you are Looking for a Classic British Sports Car for your Weekend Cruise to the Coast, Navigating the Winding Mountain Roads, or just Nipping Out for your Morning Coffee, then this MG B MkII may be The One For You.
