This Genuine Australian MkI, with Numbers Matching Engine, is Offered For Sale in its Original Toga White over British Racing Green Colour Scheme. The Interior has been Retrimmed in Pale Green with Dark Green Carpets, all in Excellent Condition with only the Drivers Seat showing Signs of Wear. There are a Couple of Non-Standard items in the cockpit, the Small Leather-Bound Three Spoke Steering Wheel, the Aluminium Gearknob and the Smiths Tachometer mounted to the right of the Instrument Cluster.

The Cooper ‘S ‘ has been Fitted with Minilite Style Cheviot Alloy Wheels shod with Dunlop Formula R Tyres hiding beneath the necessary and very often Period Fitted, Front and Rear Wheel Arch Flares. This ‘S’ has been Well Restored and as such Presents Very Well on the Exterior, Interior and Under-Bonnet.

The Engine has been Significantly Improved, having been Bored to 1340cc with 10.75:1 Pistons, Ported and Polished Cylinder Head, Superlight Steel Flywheel, a 290 Degree Performance Camshaft, 1.5:1 Roller Rockers, a 45DCOE Weber Carburettor on a Warneford Manifold, Ceramic Coated Extractor Exhaust, and a Scorcher Electronic Distributor. The Engine was Prepared by ‘Link Automotive’, a Well Respected Mini Specialist, Known for their Knowledge and Development of Mini’s and other BMC ‘A ‘ Series Engines. Another Major Improvement is the Needham Close Ratio Gearbox. All of these improvements still Allow this Cooper ‘S’ to be Equally at Home on the Road or as a Club Level Competition Car.
