STUNNING, MELBOURNE DELIVERED WITH OVERDRIVE

On its Release the MGB became an Instant Success. The Path had been Set for a Series of Cars which would Continue in Production for 18 Years, Selling over 500,000 Examples. The Pininfarina Styled MGB GT was Released in 1965 with their GT Hatchback Offering Many Advantages Including: Reduced Road Noise, a Weatherproof Cabin, a Much Larger Amount of Usable Storage Room, Rear Seats and Most Importantly a Lockable and Secure Cabin.

This 1967 MGB GT, like all MGB GTs, was built in the MG Factory in Abingdon, Oxfordshire and fully imported into Australia to be delivered new by Peter Manton Motors in Melbourne to a Mr D. Horman of Queens Road, Melbourne on the 4th of July 1967. The MGB retains its Original Driver’s Handbook, Passport to Service and other Documentation all in the original Peter Manton Motors Wallet, even an Original Peter Manton sticker is on the rear window.

Finished in Tartan Red, this very Original ‘67 MGB GT is Stunning set off by its Sparkling Chrome Wire Wheels & Bright-work, the Interior is trimmed in Black leather with Red Piping, it still has the Desirable and Unobtainable Rubber Sill Covers, the Original Steering Wheel, Rubber Over-mats to protect the Black Carpet, a Map Pocket and a Useful Accessory Power Point for your Electronic Needs.
