CLASSIC GT WITH UPGRADES AND OVERDRIVE

On its Release the MGB became an Instant Success. The Path had been Set for a Series of Cars which would Continue in Production for 18 Years, Selling over 500,000 Examples. The Pininfarina Styled MGB GT was Released in 1965 with their GT Hatchback Offering Many Advantages Including: Reduced Road Noise, a Weatherproof Cabin, a Much Larger Amount of Usable Storage Room, Rear Seats and Most Importantly a Lockable and Secure Cabin.

The Glacier White coachwork of this 1967 MGB GT is set off by its Sparkling Chrome Wire Wheels shod with White Wall Tyres & complemented by the gleaming Bright-work. The Biscuit Interior features more comfortable, later style, reclining Seats with the added safety of Head Restraints, there is a sportier looking ‘73 MGB Steering Wheel, the same as used in the much revered MGB GTV8 and the added Luxury of a full length Britax Fabric Sunroof.

The Exceptional Engine Bay has the Strong 1800 B-Series Engine featuring an Alloy Head delivering the drive through a 4 Speed gearbox with Overdrive to give an excellent range of Gears with the Ability of Relaxed Cruising at Highway Speeds. Subtle upgrades have been carried out for ease of servicing and added reliability, these include a Spin-On Oil Filter conversion, the addition of an Alternator in place of the original Dynamo and an upgrade to an Electronic Ignition system.
