9 YEARS N THE MAKING – AUSTRALIA’S FASTEST HEALEY?

Starting with a Concept in 2006, to Build a RestoMod Healey that would Vastly Improve on the Original 1960’s Design, while Not Detracting from British Brute’s Character, the Healey ‘6000’ was Born in Ballarat Victoria in 2015.

Starting with the Driveline, this ‘6000’ Healey is fitted with a New lightly worked 6L L98 Chevrolet Small Block, backed by a Tremec T56 6 Speed Manual transmission, transferring the ample Torque and Horsepower to the 9” Rear Wheels via a Ford 9” with a Lightweight Centre.

To Compensate for the Vastly Improved Performance a Purpose Built Kilmartin Chassis was Designed, with Extra Cross Bracing and ‘V- Webbed’ Chassis Rails.

Keeping the Healey Planted are Adjustable Coilovers Front and Rear, with the Front Suspension, Engineered by McDonald Bros featuring Adjustable Double Wishbones, while the Rear is Kept Centred by a 5 Link setup.

Helping you harness the Improved Performance, the Steering uses the Tried and Tested Combination of a Subaru Rack and Pinion and Triumph collapsible column. Braking Performance is Outstanding with Falcon XR8 Twin Booster, and Ventilated Discs Front and Rear.

The Cockpit Space has been Improved with 2” Wider Footwells and the Dash 3” further forward. The Trim by Garry Blackman is in Tan Leather with the Seats featuring Slotted Backs and Improved Lateral Support. The Fully Lined Factory Hardtop provides Improved Weather Protection, Reduced Exterior Noise as well as Improved Security. The Custom Air-Conditioning provides Comfort all year round whilst a Kenwood Stereo System provides in-car entertainment if required.

The ‘6000’ has fully realised the Original Design Concept, resulting in a Well Engineered and Executed Resto-Mod Healey like no other.
