CONCOURS WINNING BLACK BEAUTY

The 3000 MkIII (BJ8) is the final evolution of the “Big Healey” range, with their enduring style a testament to Donald Healey’s vision as the silhouette of the cars changed very little from original Austin Healey 100 in 1952.

Over 15 years the interior trim level, cockpit fittings and weather equipment improved to meet growing market expectations. The power output of the MkIII’s 6 cylinder engine was rated at 150 BHP, making it the most powerful of the entire range. To match the performance it was fitted with the largest disc brakes in the Healey range.

This Black BJ8 underwent a Complete Healey Factory Restoration in 1990, and as a result was the Winner of the AHOC Vic. Concours. It has been Lovingly Cared for Since and still Presents Flawlessly.

The Stunning Black Bodywork is Highlighted by the Brilliant Chromework, with the ‘One Touch’ Convertible hood & Tonneau cover Protecting the Supple Red Leather Interior trim, and it’s Luxurious Wood Grain Dash Accents from the elements.

With Original Equipment such as Wind-Up Windows, an Adjustable Steering Column, ‘One Touch’ Convertible Hood with a Zip-Out Rear Window and an Original Smiths Heater you will be able to Enjoy the Driving Experience All Year Round.

This is a Fantastic Opportunity to Own and Enjoy an Excellent Example of a Concours Winning BJ8, built to Such a High Standard that 28 years after Restoration it Presents ‘As New’.
