1966 MGB MkI ROADSTER

(To be sold Unregistered & with Vic RWC)
GARNET AND CHROME – A REAL GEM
The MGB was produced between 1962 and 1980 and underwent a program of constant change over this time. Like many classic cars the first of the series is the most elegant, and with its chrome bumpers, traditional grille and stylish tail lights the MkI is a superb classic car.
Finished in hi-gloss Garnet Red, complemented by sparkling brightwork including chrome wire wheels, two-eared knock-ons, grille and bumpers, contrasted by the lovely black interior, this 1966 MGB presents in excellent condition. Inside the cabin a leather bound sports steering wheel has been fitted along with a Kenwood stereo system, while a Smiths heater will keep you warm, for more pleasant cool weather driving.
The history file supporting the MkI shows restoration and maintenance going back to 1989, with the MG returning to the road restored in 1992. Leaving it’s long term home in Queensland, the B relocated to Victoria in 2016, with invoices showing in excess of $25,000 spent since, these include a set of Chrome Wires, re-trimming of the seats, a new tonneau and fabric soft top, a clutch kit, hi-torque starter and much more.
Blessed with simple, reliable mechanicals and easily available spare & performance parts, these British Roadsters are one of the easiest classic sports cars to own and maintain. This MkI has been lovingly cared for, for decades and is ready to be used and enjoyed by a new family.
