The Iconic Mark II is Jaguar’s Archetype Sports Sedan with its Enduring Shape, Style and Performance. Released in 1957 with Production Continuing Until 1967, a Total of 83,976 Examples were Produced, Including 2.4L, 3.4L and 3.8L Variants All Available with Either Automatic or Manual Transmissions.
This White 2.4L Mark II was Originally Equipped with an Automatic Transmission, however it was Replaced with the Robust Toyota Celica/Supra 5 Speed Manual Gearbox, Greatly Improving the Driving Experience and Sporting Character of the Jaguar.
Aiding to the Improved Performance of the 5 Speed Gearbox, the Brakes have been Uprated to Suit, Including the Fitment of a VH40 Brake Booster and Front Ventilated Disc with Matching 4 Piston Callipers.
For Greater Reliability the Mark II has been Fitted with a Thermatic Fan, Supplement the Cooling System and an Alternator to Provide more Consistent Charging.
