ONE LADY OWNER SINCE 1967!

Introduced in 1964, the MkIII Sprite was Now Equipped with Wind Up Windows, Quarter Vents, External Door Handles and a Curved Glass Windscreen. Mechanically, the 1098cc A-Series was Strengthened, with better casting and 2” Main Bearings, while the Rear Suspension was Converted from Quarter-Elliptic to Semi-Elliptic Leaf Springs.

This Champion Red Sprite was Sold to Miss J.A. Evans on the 16th of August 1967 as a Two Year Old Sports-Car, some 53 Years Later the Little Healey is Now being Offered For Sale with Less Than 60,000 Genuine Miles on the Odometer!

A Large File of Invoice Documentation is Provided with the Sprite, detailing the Healey’s History from Date of Purchase to Current Day.

Mechanically the MkIII feels Tight and Willing, the 1098cc Engine Benefiting from a Full Rebuild in July of 1998, at 49,862 miles, at which time the Twin SU’s, Distributor, Radiator and Starter Motor were all also Reconditioned.

The ‘Ribcase’ Gearbox is in Fantastic Condition, with the Synchro’s in Perfect Order, a Real Credit to the Mechanical Sympathy & Driving Skill of the Previous Owner.
