1964 FORD ANGLIA 105E
A BIT OF MAGIC, MISTER POTTER
This Lovely Australian Built Olive Green 105E Anglia Presents Well with Matching Exterior and Interior Paintwork Complemented by Two Tone Grey Vinyl Seating.
The Anglia’s Styling was a Radical Departure from the Previous ‘Box on Box’ 100E, with some American Influence Obvious with Rear Fins and the Reverse Sloping Rear Window which was said to be Influenced by the Design of the 1958 Lincoln Continental. Mechanically the 105E Featured the New Inline Overhead Valve Four Cylinder Engine which Replaced the Previous Side Valve Engine.
The 105E Anglia was Extremely Successful with Almost 200,000 vehicles being Produced in the First Year. It Clearly Ticked All the Right Boxes, being a Four Seater, Modern (for the time) Styling, a New More Powerful and More Fuel Efficient Engine and Obviously an Affordable Price Tag.
The 105E Anglia Appeals in Many Ways, from its Quirky Styling, to its Mechanical Simplicity and Reputation for Reliability. The 997cc Engine was Used in Modified Form to Power Many Formula Junior Racing Cars of the Period Due to its Inherently Sound Basic Design.
Driving the Anglia will Transport You to a Time when the Pace Of Life was Less Urgent, when Automation was in its Infancy and you Actually had Free Time to Enjoy With Family and Friends. Allow Yourself to Relive Simplicity and Experience the Magic.
