COMPLETE HEALEY FACTORY RESTORATION

Presenting in The Most Desirable Colour Scheme of Healey Blue over Ivory White with Lovely Complementary Dark Blue and Cream Interior Trim this Phase I BJ8 is an Exceptional Example of the Marque!

Presented to The Healey Factory as a Complete, but Non-Running Project this Healey was subject to a Complete and Comprehensive Restoration over an Extended Period of time (to work with the BJ8 Owner’s timeline), Finally Driving out of the ‘Factory’ in 2012.

The Restoration Process was Incredibly Thorough, with the Healey being Stripped Down to a Bare Chassis & Bulkhead Assembly Before All Repairs and Restoration was Started. The Rebuild was Completed in a Near to Concours Specification, with a Small Number of Modifications to Improve the Drive and Reliability, While Maintaining Period Character.

Unfortunate Circumstances Required the BJ8 to be Sold not long after the Restoration’s Completion, at which time the Purchaser Sacrificed his Concours Winning BN6 to Allow for the Upgrade. With the New Ownership the came a few Aesthetic Changes Including the Addition of the Ivory Flashes on Both Sides, the Dark Blue Carpets/Interior Accents and the Dark Blue Soft-Top.

With Original Equipment such as Wind-Up Windows, an Adjustable Steering Column, ‘One Touch’ Convertible Hood with a Zip-Out Rear Window and an Original Smiths Heater you will be able to Enjoy the Driving Experience All Year Round.

Sensible Improvements Under the Bonnet Include, an Alternator, a Texas Kooler Type Engine Cooling Fan and a Spin-On Oil Filter Conversion while in the Boot you will find an In-Built Battery Charger and a Keyed Isolator Switch, Ideal Additions when not using your BJ8 everyday.
