Built New in the First Week of July 1964 this Phase II 3000 MkIII was Sold New into Jacksonville, Florida USA, Finished in Colorado Red, with Black Trim and a Matching Black Hood.

Arriving in Australia Many Years Later, the BJ8 was Professionally Restored in NSW by ‘Coolibah Convertibles’, with the Process Beginning in 1992. A Detailed Receipt File and Photographs Taken During the Restoration Accompany the BJ8, Confirming the Expenditure and the Extent of the Works Carried Out.

This Beautiful Austin Healey 3000 MkIII Presents Exceedingly Well, Finished in it’s Original Colours, Retaining it’s Matching Numbers with the Only Deviations from Factory Specification: a Right Hand Drive Conversion, 72 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels Replacing the Original 60 Spoke Painted Examples, Fitment of a Period Correct Motolita Wood Rimmed Steering Wheel, Fitment of Accessory Driving Lights as well as the Fitment of a Fuel Filter in the Engine Bay.

An Incredibly Correct, Concours Example, this now Nearing 30 Year Old Restored BJ8, is in Outstanding Condition, Far Out Performing Many, Much Newer, Less Comprehensively Restored Examples.
