WIND UP WINDOWS & ONE TOUCH HOOD

Built between June 1962 and November 1963 the 3000 MkIIA accounts for less than 8.5% of the total Austin Healey production and marked the Introduction of both Wind Up Windows and a One Touch Hood to the Healey Range.

This 3000 MkIIA BJ7 presented in the Highly Desirable colour combination of Black over Red, with it’s Sparkling 72 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels and Excellent Chrome-work adding the finishing touches to Brighten up this Truly Lovely example.

The Cockpit has been finished to an Extremely High Standard, with the Black upholstery Complemented by Silver piping, an upgraded Convertible Hood to accommodate a Zip Out Rear Window as standard on the MkIII and finished by the addition of a period correct MotaLita Wood-rimmed Steering Wheel.

A Mechanically standard BJ7, with only a ‘Texas Kooler’ fan taking away from the driveline’s originality, this 3000 benefits from the fitment of Factory Optional Overdrive and Smith Heater allowing for a More Comfortable Tourer All Year round.

For Improved Safety the Rear Reflectors have been Replaced with Indicators, Separating them from the Brake/Tail lights allowing for Easier Recognition by following motorists.
