Introduced in June 1962, the 3000 MkIIA (BJ7) Marked the Introduction of Both Wind Up Windows and a One Touch Hood to the Healey Range, Luxury Features Intended to Allow the Healey Compete with it’s American Counterparts for the Ever Important Export Market.

With a Total Build Number of 6113 BJ7’s, this Colorado Red Example Represents One of Just 44 Original Right Hand Drive’s Built for Export, which when Added to the UK Home Market makes for a Total Right Hand Drive Production of Just 499 or 8.16%!

Built Between the 30th of August and the 3rd of September 1963, this Original Right Hand Drive 3000 MkIIA was First Registered on the 25th of November 1963 in Victoria Australia, with the Number Plates ‘HXA 222”.

The BJ7 Presents Well, with its Colorado Red Paintwork, Contrasted by the Lovely Brightwork, Including 72 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels, as well as the Black Interior Featuring Leather Seats, with Red Piping. The Interior also Features a ‘Leyland Premier’ Radio, playing through the AWA Speaker found on the parcel tray.

The History File Accompanying this 3000 MkIIA Contains Details of Ownership, Maintenance and Repair. A Highlight of the File, is the 3 Photos Dated the 16th of June 1970, Showing the Original Registration, as well as the Extra Driving Lamps, Single Driver’s Side Mirror and Radio Antenna, All Still Fitted to the Healey 50 Years Later.
